Heidelberg Friends

I am way behind...but on Tuesday, April 6th Cody and I took an adventure. We drove two hours up to Agoura Hills to visit with my room mates from Heidelberg and their kids. The drive was an adventure...only in LA do you hit traffic on a Tuesday at 10:00am. Cody did great for most of the ride because I hooked up the DVD player and let him watch Curious George. The last 15 minutes he was done. He started whinning and crying. Finally we arrived to all our friends awaiting us. They all live in the local area so their commute was a little better than ours. Cody had a great time playing with Reilly, Georgie, Brayden, Meghan, Isabella, and Ryan. I had a wonderful time visiting with Tara, Diane, and Laura. I wish we lived closer to these girls. Our time is never long enough. The kids played, we ate lunch, and then headed home for naps. Cody made it to the freeway before he fell asleep. He slept the whole way home. It was a fun visit and we hope to have another real soon.
