It had been a whole year since we had been to Carpinteria and Cody and I were dying to go. We had changed our annual trip to August since we had just taken a week off to go to Turks and Caicos. Mimi, Poppy, Grammy and Grampy had not cancelled their trip so we decided to go up and visit. We were only there for two days and one night but we had so much fun. Cody learned to ride a bike while we were there. He absolutely loved it. He played boccie ball with all the guys, played in the sand, and we even made it into the candy store. We had a great short trip.
